When I met Jamie Pryde, owner of The Edit, the first thing that caught my eye was his utterly perfect hair. He has mastered the modern-day swooping pompadour (picture Danny Zuko under the tutelage of Ralph Lauren). After being sucked in by this folicular tractor beam, we got to chatting about his showroom, online store, and design philosophy. Featuring both curated antique pieces and locally-designed gems, The Edit provides those one-of-a-kind items that take an interior to the next level. Pieces that tell a story, spark conversation, and stand the test of time, pillars in Jamie’s approach to interiors.

When I made a visit to his downtown showroom I knew it would be a great spot for a Designer Happy Hour. We had a fantastic crowd join us to mix and mingle among the treasures.
