This past year has been a great one for me and MãK Interiors. We completed some great projects for incredible clients, we started the Designer Desk series on the blog, hosted a Designer Happy Hour nearly every month (and started documenting them on the blog too), took a trip to New York, and got engaged to my best friend. Not bad.
2015 has a lot to live up to right out of the gate. Luckily, I’ve got a number of things up my sleeve this year so I’ve got a feeling that this will be another good one.
To start, we’ve made a few changes around here. You’ll notice our new blog logo at the top of the page as well as updates throughout the MãK Interiors site (do take a gander and let us know what you think!). We’ve added more information for potential design clients on our services page, new project photos, more client testimonials, and yours truly even got a new mug shot.
I was feeling that our past logo was a little too bland in all grey, so we’ve added colour and created more of a proper ‘logo’. I think this is such a great representation of our approach to design; creative but functional, fun but thorough, approachable, and thoughtful. Take a peek:

* I can’t use this word in real life. I’ve considered pushing the wedding date up just to reduce the period of time when I’m supposed to use it. It always makes me think of this classic Seinfeld moment:
…but I digress…
On top of the new branding, we’re working on a boatload of exciting projects right now which I can’t wait to show you! We’ve also got some great Designer Desk profiles lined up this year, tons more Designer Happy Hour events to share, and a couple of top-secret pet projects that I hope to reveal this year too. SUSPENSE!!!! Oh yeah, and I have a wedding to plan.
2015 is looking pretty good. I hope it’s good to you too.
