Newcrest

With picturesque views of North Vancouver, Newcrest’s Vancouver headquarters was affectionately dressed up in a tailored ‘suit’. Charcoal tones, crisp whites, and gold accents that paid homage to the client’s core business of gold-mining.

Inspired by archived images of mines and topographical maps, we created custom film and wall coverings that are implemented throughout the space. In addition to looking good, the space had to function within stringent acoustic requirements that were constructed within the interior architecture.

In an effort to encourage positive work culture we utilized open workstations and integrated coffee bars that promote random collisions between work groups. Despite the challenges of a tight construction window, this project was realized and built by a hardworking and cooperative team and completed on time and on budget.
