Whistler Retreat – Glacier Drive

This corporate retreat in Whistler is used as a home-away-from home for both international executives exploring the west coast, and local teams taking a well-deserves retreat. Held by the client company for the past 20 years, the team had come to know it as a cozy getaway with all the comforts of home.

Tasked with a full update to modernize the space and address general wear and tear, we undertook a complete refresh while maintaining the warmth and charm that the team had come to know. New natural oak flooring throughout helped to unify the three levels and lighten the space along with updated to the central staircase, opening the space. A simple facelift to the kitchen including refinishing the existing cabinets and a fresh backsplash went a long way for a modest cost. While a complete gut of all three bathrooms took them from dated and dark to a fresh space experience.

Along with all new furniture, including reupholstery of some long time favorites, means the space is as comfortable as ever and full of texture and warmth. The perfect space to get cozy after a day of skiing, reconnect with teammates over a puzzle, or settle in with a book to disconnect from it all.
