One of our most creative and hands-on projects in the last year was also one of the smallest.  This art installation and retail display rolled into one was definitely a departure from our usual interior design work but we’re eager to do more!  White Trash, as it came to be called, was our solution to a provocative yet cost effective window display for Vancouver’s home decor and art retailer espace d.  Our client, Pierre, wanted something that would catch people’s attention and  emphasize the quality and craftsmanship of his products for the holiday shopping season; without being traditionally ‘festive’.  Naturally, we figured there was no better way to accomplish this than to display his goods against a pile of garbage!  Well, that nugget of genius didn’t actually hit us until a little later … Here are the three concepts that we originally presented to him and we’re so glad he put his trust in our vision and took a chance on #3!   See the final results of this project here.
