This client had outgrown their traditional office layout — perimeter offices, closed-off lunch rooms, too little natural light. The mandate was to make things lighter and brighter, and we took that literally. Inverting the existing layout brought natural light deeper into the floor plate, opened up areas for genuine collaboration, and created generous breakout zones for different styles of working. A complete rethink, not a refresh.
