With picturesque views of North Vancouver, Newcrest’s Vancouver headquarters was dressed up in a tailored ‘suit’. Charcoal tones, crisp whites, and gold accents pay homage to the client’s core business of gold mining.
Inspired by archived images of mines and topographical maps, we created custom film and wall coverings implemented throughout the space. Stringent acoustic requirements were constructed within the interior architecture without compromising the refined aesthetic.
Open workstations and integrated coffee bars promote random collisions between work groups, encouraging the positive culture Newcrest wanted to foster. Despite a tight construction window, the project was completed on time and on budget.

Newcrest needed a Vancouver headquarters that communicated the calibre of their operation — not raw extraction, but the precision and value of what they produce. Custom acoustic solutions had to be integrated invisibly into the architecture, while a tight construction window left little room for error.
The tailored palette of charcoal, white, and gold has drawn consistent praise from staff and visitors alike. The custom mine-inspired wall coverings have become genuine conversation pieces — details that reward a closer look. The project was delivered on time and on budget despite the compressed schedule, a result of close coordination between our team and SCC Construction.
